Gee – I haven’t added a post for a while, things are quite busy all round.  This thesis thing is really getting down to the wire with a definite due date on the 18^th of October, I may finish before but it MUST be in by then.

 

News that I probably should have posted about was the decision by member of the G8 to forgive debts to African countries.  This is the most significant aid announcement probably since the Marshall plan from America to Europe back in the day.  I certainly hope that the G8 summit will ratify and go further with increased aid (0.7% GDP) as well.  We can only hope – and pray.

Bad U2 puns

I read a bit of U2 related material on the web – mostly through atU2.com – but a lot of it just contains really bad puns here they try to include at many song titles into the text as possible.  One particularly bad example can be found published in the Boston Herald
