interesting article about the worlds inaction in Sudan. Mainly from a USA perspective but valid nontheless. here

Peter, an ex housemate of mine has family still there, his brothers were in a refugee camp that was attacked by rebels.

they escaped and were int he forrest for a few days before they found another town where they were put on a bus to go to other family.

on the way there however their bus went over a landmine, killing their cousin who was travelling with them and injuring the boys sending them to hospital.

and the process to get them here will probably take another year or two...
